My name is Kay Bradford, and I am in the beginning stage of blogging.  I have been in education for 22 years.  I have been a middle school language arts teacher, girls and boys coach, assistant principal and now I am an elementary principal.  My blog will consist of my thoughts about educational books, articles, and videos that I feel are important to me and the educational field.  Additionally, I will post about my observations of amazing things that I see happening in schools.  I may post presentations at some time, but for now, I will discuss the matters that I feel are pertinent to the education field.

I have a bachelor’s degree from Sam Houston State University.

I have a master’s degree in Educational Leadership from The University of Houston.

I have a doctoral degree from Texas Tech University.

I was raised in Houston, Texas, and I moved to Austin, Texas in 2000.  I have three children.  I have a set of twin girls that are 11, and a 7 year old spitfire blonde.
